Chase drove in a career high 6 RBI’s in last night’s win over the Colorado Rockies. Chase hit a 3-run shot in the first, had an RBI groundout in the 4th, had an RBi single in the 6th, and an RBi single in the 8th. Chase’s blast in the first tied him for the league lead in home runs with Dan Uggla and Lance Berkman with 16. Chase also stole his 5th base of the season. Pitcher Jamie Moyer was the beneficiary of the run support.
“It’s always good to get runs for your pitcher,” said Chase, who provided enough RBI’s himself for the Phillies to win the game.
